"What of that night..."

I awoke on the stone steps at the end of my village street again,
in the chill of the night. I was some what warm where my clothing
covered my skin, but my arms and legs felt the damp cold of the stone
where I lay. In the distance I could here the faint sounds of men laughing
and wondered what had happened in the night, for usually when I woke
from my drunkenness there was not a sound to be heard.
This night seemed different like the air was thick in my throat.

I tried to move but my limbs were still drunk and sluggish,
so I thought to just lay there and fall asleep again.
Then there was that sound, a man praying, but different,
like a hurt man gasping in the distance but The sound was in
my ear for me to feel this man blessing me exactly where I lay.
There was no man next to me, no man near to me at all.
How am I hearing these words, "Father forgive them they know not...".

And I awake again, was that a dream I was hearing?
I do not know what hour of the night, not even what watch it is,
But my body had begun to ache on the cold stone so I gathered myself
and walked to the corner of the street to hear that voice again.
What was he saying, "Bless them Father, for they are blind children
leading the blind and the searching..."
But again there was no man near me, what are these words
And what man spoke as this in the dead of the night

As I took a step or two I could see a glow from a fire in the mist of the night.
and soldiers gathered in a group before they could see me.
I leaned back against the wall wanting no trouble with that Roman guard.
If they had beaten you in your drunkenness before you knew to stay out of sight.
And they were beating someone harshly and severe, strange for this watch of the night.
And that voice again, I can feel His Voice in my chest as well as hear Him,
Who is this person that has the guard up in the late watch of the night
And why is he so concerned for their forgiveness...

Was home spent for the Fire of God...

a War where victory is only in surrender
are the lights of Nash-vegas blinding
as flames burst forth on the horizon
of a nation due for Awakening

where is the town crier
has sleep overtaken the forefather's voice
of reason with an apathetic moan
of indifference and a plea for meat

give the forlorn guest of this blustery shore
a glimpse of horrid history
hidden in the annals of angry men
cherishing the coin of gold

was this land valued for the war of flesh
or the dignity of faithful men
on whom God's Glory rest
is the banner flown within your grasp

or shall the clocks be set once more
ringing liberty not ragged folklore
this ancient monster to arise or
an Eagle on the Lord's breath shall fly

the 'Gloves come off'

He calmly did lay down her head
limp and lifeless was her neck
and as he did a fire did flare through his heart
how many of these children
had he covered their face in these last days

too many for tears anymore
death had become a numbness
that pulled upon his soul
and prayer, prayer seemed to be a dog left in the street
the chill of wet pavement soaking in the rain

these hurt and wounded little ones
are they a vengeance for the millions of silent screams
or has hope become a vapor in the mist
he remembered inmates in prison
who would never answer wrong

Even the convicted would respond in voice and eyes
Even they wished mercy and goodness upon the young
then grief stressed his heart to physical pain
Asking, How do I respond
It's time the 'Gloves came off'

Yes, the 'Gloves come off'
laying anointed hands on the bleeding
to the dying give life and a night of peace
to walk down the streets they said, "don't go there."
Speak the Name Jesus to ones for who no one cared

in the on-going theories of 'Quantum Physics',
which means there are massive areas which man has no clue what the universe consist of, and Yes, I stopped on a preposition,'of'.
Of what does this being 'man', who perceives it is possible for him to be God and at the same time believes it is possible that all things came into existence by some evolution without reason.

A heart shaped jewel at the center of the universe of Quantum Physics,
a place where men accept their calculations fall severely short of an explanation for life, much less does man on his own know of the 'meaning' of life.
For man confuses 'Laws' of the universe, 'Absolutes', facts,
along with Axioms , Theorems and Values with
Not perceiving that 'Truth' is contained in a person,
if not, is the character of a person.
Or may I say, is a person,
Christ, even the Spirit of Truth,
into which those who believe have been baptized,
The Holy Spirit.
without Christ Himself,
indwelling us through His Holy Spirit.
None have 'Truth'.

or not.
For only through Christ is it possible to;
Truth, Holy or Love...

Default -

Default -
We have 'default' settings on our computer,
we have a 'default' start page,
we even have 'default' back-ups...
We also so have 'default' settings in our being.
All to often we 'default' to our natural self
and our 'default' selfishness.
We also 'default' to things we learned either
passive or aggressive,
things we learned by repetition or shock.
Those things that we say or do,
then realize the behavior came from a place,
with which we would have consciously disagreed.
A 'default' action like constantly telling our children
to turn off the lights, if you're not in the room.
Simply a 'default' action because your mother told you the same.
Sometimes this 'default' behavior
is reverting back to past responses
because we have not 'updated' our response.
We have not 'updated' our 'subscription' to the Word of God
and renewed our 'licensing agreement' with Heaven and the Holy Spirit.

So, If you find yourself in a 'default' action,
to which you did not subscribe,
it may not be your fault,
But you may change the action
by asking for an update from God
in your spirit,
and follow up by reading up in the Owner's Manual
unto the renewing of the 'licensing agreement'
in your mind...

The Waterwheel ...

Out on the 105 there is a Waterwheel,
you may have driven past it this morning.
for years this Waterwheel sat broken and in disarray.
The wooden water trough which channeled water to the Waterwheel
was falling apart and leaking.
The spindle for the Waterwheel was split and did not turn.
At one time it was new and worked perfectly.
And when a Waterwheel is functioning, turning
it may supply energy, power for a purpose,
to grind corn to feed livestock,
or grind wheat into flour so that families may bake bread.
But the Waterwheel sat there broken
and in the winter would be frozen solid with ice,
like the Waterwheel itself did not care.
But someone made a decision to restore the Waterwheel.
Then they followed through with the effort to renew the Waterwheel
to it's purpose again.
They reestablished the flow of the water,
The source which turned the Waterwheel.
There are places in the 'Word of God' like this:
“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said,
‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’”
John 7:38

And I quote:Jesus answered and said to her,
“If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you,
‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him,
and He would have given you living water.”
The woman said to Him,
“Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep.
Where then do You get that living water?
“Are You greater than our father Jacob,
who gave us the well, and drank from it himself,
as well as his sons and his livestock?”
Jesus answered and said to her,
“Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
“but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.
But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water
springing up into everlasting life.”
John 4:10,11,12,13,14
