The Waterwheel ...

Out on the 105 there is a Waterwheel,
you may have driven past it this morning.
for years this Waterwheel sat broken and in disarray.
The wooden water trough which channeled water to the Waterwheel
was falling apart and leaking.
The spindle for the Waterwheel was split and did not turn.
At one time it was new and worked perfectly.
And when a Waterwheel is functioning, turning
it may supply energy, power for a purpose,
to grind corn to feed livestock,
or grind wheat into flour so that families may bake bread.
But the Waterwheel sat there broken
and in the winter would be frozen solid with ice,
like the Waterwheel itself did not care.
But someone made a decision to restore the Waterwheel.
Then they followed through with the effort to renew the Waterwheel
to it's purpose again.
They reestablished the flow of the water,
The source which turned the Waterwheel.
There are places in the 'Word of God' like this:
“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said,
‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’”
John 7:38

And I quote:Jesus answered and said to her,
“If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you,
‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him,
and He would have given you living water.”
The woman said to Him,
“Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep.
Where then do You get that living water?
“Are You greater than our father Jacob,
who gave us the well, and drank from it himself,
as well as his sons and his livestock?”
Jesus answered and said to her,
“Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,
“but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.
But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water
springing up into everlasting life.”
John 4:10,11,12,13,14
