the Verb of God

The Verb of God ...

Jesus being the Word of God ...
In the beginning was the Word  ...

And the Word became Flesh ,
And lived among us ...

Through the Ages when the Church become stagnant ,
And lacked the Flow of Living Water ,
Men would concentrate on the Noun of God .
Who , What , Where  and When .
Until these became 'mere' facts .
Preaching  ' a '  gospel ,
But denying the Power there of ...

Until the True Body of Christ became ' Desperate '
For the Presence of Christ ,
By the Holy Spirit .

Thus ' Reaching ' for the Hem of His Garment ,
Crying out ,
Praying ,
For  ' A Move of God " ,
Movement ...

And again ,
In That Hour ,
The Lord would hear their cry
and answer by His Mighty Right Hand ,
Through the Holy Ghost .

And Again ,
The Word of God would pour out
the ' Verb of God ' .
The Gospel endued with Power , Movement and Action ,
Not by the wisdom of man ,
Nor man's intellect ,
But by His Spirit .

Jesus is NOT a noun but
The Living Word
"  'THE' PERPETUAL VERB  "

The Verb of God ...

This view or concept is in truth from a conversation with Frank Turek  ,
of Crossexamined.org  /  ' I don't have enough faith to be an atheist . ' .
In closing the conversation , I said ,
" You're concerned with the  ' the Noun of God ' ,
        I'm interested in  ' the Verb of God ' . "
This phrase ,  ' the Verb of God '
stuck in my being, a decade and a half later
the phrase still stands ...
