Streams...

Streams,
most people aren't concerned about where the water in a stream came from,
they are only concerned about where the waters flow will take them...

most people are even less concerned about the purity of the water,
they are not concerned about drawing from the springs that feed the stream,
nor are they concerned about finding the headwaters
or the streams origin...

And then there are the guides and the teachers,
they are not concerned as much as they could be,
about where the stream came from,
or what may have gotten into the water ...
They seem to be most concerned about how many people will
jump into the stream,
and consume the water...
and by no means should you ask the guide where he
got into the stream.
They may have never touched the water
or felt the flow of the stream at all...

Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God,
and who it is who says to you,
 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him,
and He would have given you living water."
She said to Him, " Sir, You have nothing to draw with and the well is deep;
where then do You get that living water?
"You are not greater than our father Jacob, are You, who gave us the well,
and drank of it himself and his sons and his cattle?"
Jesus answered and said to her,
"Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again;
but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst;
but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water
springing up to eternal life."
The woman said to Him,
"Sir, give me this water,
so I will not be thirsty nor come all the way here to draw."
John - Chapter 4 : 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said,
'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'"
But this He spoke of the Spirit,
whom those who believed in Him were to receive;
for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
John - Chapter 7 : 38, 39
